Coastal Sports and Entertainment Group Ltd. is pleased to announce that Boston Bilous has been hired as the Goaltending Coach of the Pacific Junior Hockey League’s newest franchise based out of Gibsons, British Columbia. It will commence play in September 2024 for the 2024-2025 PJHL season.
Boston Bilous Highlights:
– Four seasons in the WHL with the Edmonton Oil Kings, Prince Albert Raiders, and Moose Jaw Warriors
– 2018-19 WHL champion with the Prince Albert Raiders
– One season in the SJHL with the Estevan Bruins winning the 2022 league championship
– One season in the ACAC with the Southern Alberta Institute of Technology (S.A.I.T)
Brad Wingfield, General Manager and Head Coach, commented:
“Boston comes to us with an extensive junior hockey playing career where he spent time in the WHL and SJHL,” said Wingfield. “He’s a young and upcoming goalie development coach that brings passion and work ethic along with the knowledge from his playing days,” he added.
Bilous, who is looking forward to being with the team, commented, “It’s very exciting to be joining the Coastal Tsunami staff and helping the goaltenders for their first season in the PJHL.”
