Sunshine Coast, B.C. – General Manager and Head Coach Brad Wingfield announced today that the team has committed to 2006-born forward Devante Pratt (Battleford, SK).
Pratt (6’1”, 170 pounds) began his junior hockey career with the Fort Frances Lakers of the SIJHL, where he registered one goal and an assist.
He then went to the PJHL, playing with the North Vancouver Wolf Pack, but he was held off the scoresheet in eight games.
Pratt looks forward to playing on the Sunshine Coast and is ready to “feel the wave.” The left-shot forward has also been reunited with friend Caige Starr.
“Pratt will add much-needed depth and skill along with blue-collar work ethic and grit,” said General Manager and Head Coach Brad Wingfield.
The Coastal Tsunami would like to welcome Devante and his family to the Sunshine Coast.
