Erik Tuff brings a wealth of coaching, player development and scouting experience to his role as Associate Coach and Assistant General Manager with the Coastal Tsunami.
For more than a decade, Erik has coached and operated hockey skills camps and individual development sessions in Calgary and Cochrane, working with players across a wide range of levels, including junior and college athletes and NHL draft picks. His coaching experience spans minor hockey through the junior level, with time behind the bench in the Calgary Buffaloes, Calgary Royals, Bow Valley, Airdrie and Cochrane organizations, including several seasons as a head coach.
At the junior level, Erik previously served as an Assistant Coach and Scout with the Sicamous Eagles of the KIJHL. He also spent parts of three seasons scouting for the Nelson Leafs, adding valuable experience in player evaluation and recruitment to his coaching background.
Now on the Sunshine Coast, Erik brings that combination of coaching, development and scouting experience to the Tsunami, helping support the continued development of the team’s players and program both on and off the ice.
