Ridge Meadows, BC— The Tsunami (12-14-1-1) are headed back to the Sunshine Coast with only one victory on their three game road swing as the team lost to the Flames (21-2-1-0) 7-2 tonight.
Coastal managed to score the game’s first goal and have solid chances all night long but fatigue played a factor in tonight’s game.
Lucas Lekakis (1) scored his first PJHL goal to open the game and Rocky Nordvie (5) would eventually score a goal on the man advantage for the Coastal Tsunami, but that was it for goals from the visitors.
The Flames found the back of the net thanks to Cohen Muc (9), Jacob Loewen (5), Matthew Wise (2), Nolan Bowsher (18), Owen Nutland (8), Pierce Whyte (9 PP) and Joshua Bettesworth (10 SH).
The Tsunami head home for a week of rest and recovery before playing two games on the mainland next weekend.
