The Coastal Tsunami (9-8-1-1) is in Port Coquitlam (12-6) for the first time this season and the first-ever meeting between these two clubs.

Branden Pollock is in his third and final season in the Pacific Junior Hockey League. The 2004-born blueliner began his career with the North Vancouver Wolf Pack in the 2022 – 23 season before being traded to Port Coquitlam last January. Raised in West Vancouver, BC, Pollock has 4 goals and 11 assists for 15 points in 18 games and has seen a significant increase in ice time compared to his two previous campaigns.

Jake Yakubowski had quite the night on Friday, scoring a goal and adding an assist in his team’s 7-2 victory against Port Moody. The right-shot forward is in his first season of PJHL hockey and has two goals and four assists for six points in 17 games. The pride of Saskatoon, SK, went seven games without recording a point since Friday.
