The Coastal Tsunami (17-24-1-1) and Port Moody Panthers (12-27-2-1) are meeting for the final time this season. Both teams are eager to get back into the win column after losing to the White Rock Whalers on separate outings.
Coastal surrendered four unanswered goals in White Rock en route to a 6-5 defeat last night, while Port Moody suffered a 10-1 defeat at home last Sunday.
The two opponents have met thrice this season, and the Tsunami currently holds a 2-1 lead in the series.
The home team has earned two points in those first three games, with the Tsunami winning 7-1 and 7-2 on September 14 and November 8 and the Panthers winning 6-5 on December 23.
The Tsunami are on a two-game losing skid and hungry for their first road victory of 2025. Port Moody has lost their last three games and wants to secure a win at home for the first time since January 5.
The puck drops at 6:15 p.m. at Port Moody Arena.
The Tsunami are back on the Sunshine Coast this Friday when they host the Grandview Steelers at 5:00 pm. Tickets are available online and at the arena.
