MORRISON NAMED FIRST STAR OF THE WEEK IN THE PJHL

The Coastal Tsunami have a second player taking home star of the week honours this season, with goaltender Finn Morrison adding his name to the list.

Morrison has posted a 1.92 goals against average and 0.964 save percentage in his last two games.

The pride of New Westminster allowed one goal on 44 shots against North Vancouver last Friday and ended the weekend by surrendering two goals on 41 shots against Delta.

Morrison has seen an increase in playing time with former team captain Nick Peters leaving the team at the trade deadline.

Stepping into a bigger role is something he is very excited about. “It means a lot getting the first star. Our team has given it their all these past couple of games, and I couldn’t do it without them,” he said.

With two games left at the GACC this season, you don’t want to miss your chance to watch Morrison and the Tsunami on January 31 and February 2.
