These articles usually kick off by celebrating a big week on the ice, but this week looks a little different. Due to weather and flooding in the Lower Mainland, the Tsunami’s only scheduled game was postponed, giving our boys not just one, but two full weeks off.
So what has the team been up to? Plenty.
The Tsunami have been practicing hard (nearly every day) gearing up to face the Ridge Meadows Flames in this Saturday’s Snowball Toss game. When they’re not on the ice or in the gym, you’ll find the players at Marino’s Independent Grocer selling snowballs and having a blast creating fun social media content along the way.
If you’re not already following us on Facebook, Instagram, YouTube, or TikTok, now’s the time! You’ll find game highlights, behind-the-scenes moments, and sneak peeks at our special edition Christmas jerseys.
Missing your Tsunami fix? Swing by Marino’s Independent Grocer this week to grab your Snowballs. Proceeds support a great local cause, Sunshine Coast Secret Santa. And if you’re shopping for the Tsunami fan in your life, don’t forget to bid on one of our game-worn Christmas jerseys. The auction closes at the end of the week, and winning bidders will have the opportunity to get their jersey signed by the players.
I’ll leave you with one final thought, Tsunami fam…
Who do you think will score the all-important snowball goal on Saturday?
Sassy Tsu 🌊
