GIBSONS & AREA COMMUNITY CENTRE
The Coastal Tsunami practices and competes at the Gibsons & Area Community Centre (GACC), the home arena of the Junior “A” Coastal Tsunami in the Pacific Junior Hockey League (PJHL). Located just 10 minutes from the ferry, the GACC offers top-tier amenities and serves as the perfect venue for our team.
In addition to the Tsunami, the GACC hosts a variety of other community programs, including minor hockey, lacrosse, and the skate club. The facility features four spacious, well-equipped dressing rooms, a multipurpose meeting room, a concession area, and skate and helmet rentals. Most importantly, the GACC is fully accessible, ensuring that everyone can enjoy the experience.
The Coastal Tsunami competes against teams across the Lower Mainland, with home games typically scheduled for Fridays, Saturdays, and Sundays. Attendance at these games is unmatched in the PJHL, with the arena regularly hosting sell-out crowds of over 700 fans. The excitement is palpable, with the 50/50 jackpot often reaching $1,000.
