The Grandview Steelers are leaving the Sunshine Coast with their first road win of the season after a 1-0 shootout victory against the Coastal Tsunami.
Chances were exchanged both ways during the regulation and overtime periods, but no player could find the back of the net.
Ronin Geraghty had a shutout performance for the Grandview Steelers, which also included stopping all the shots he faced in the shootout.
Nick Peters was also outstanding for the Coastal Tsunami, allowing only one goal in the shootout.
2004-born forward Kassius Kler had the shootout winner for Grandview.
The Coastal Tsunami finished September with a record of 5-2-0-1 and will start their October schedule next Sunday when they host the Surrey Knights.
