Giancarlo Nadeau

Sunshine Coast, BC— Salute to Service Night went more than well for the Coastal Tsunami (9-8-1-1), who took down the Port Moody Panthers (4-14) by a 7-2 score.

From power play goals, even strength goals, and short-handed goals, this game had it all.

Newly acquired forward Patrick Dolan (2) opened up the scoring in his Tsunami debut while his team killed off a penalty. Dolan scored his third of the season in the dying seconds of the third period.

Minutes later, Colin Jang (13) had a short-handed goal to even the score for the Panthers. Port Moody would get their second and final goal off the stick of Captain Connor Hughes (8) on a man advantage in the second period.

Eric Stinson (4), Jake Yakubowski (2), Raydon Parkes (10), Ben Walker (5) PP, and Ethan Smid (8) PP also added their names to the goal sheet.

Up next, Coastal is on the road in Port Coquitlam on Sunday before visiting White Rock on Monday.
