GRANDVIEW SWEEPS SEASON SERIES AGAINST TSUNAMI

Sunshine Coast, BC— The Coastal Tsunami (18-25-1-1) will have to wait until next season for their next chance to beat the Grandview Steelers (24-19-2-0) after losing 5-2 tonight.

 

Grandview led 3-0 after the first people of play thanks to goals from Tyson Osachoff (12), Noah Gibbons (13 PP), and Steven Konechny (23).

 

The Tsunami opened the second period with a goal from Reegan Kominko (4), assisted by Raydon Parkes, who picked up his 50th career point. 

 

The Steelers rounded out the scoring in the middle frame thanks to markers from Aangid Manhas (12) and Kassius Kler (11). 

 

Patrick Dolan (9) scored the game’s final goal at 19:47 of the third period.

 

Coastal is back home on Sunday, February 2, to host the Surrey Knights for their final home game of 2025. Tickets are available online and at the arena.
