TSUNAMI SURRENDER EIGHT GOALS TO WOLF PACK; FALL 8-3

Giancarlo Nadeau

North Vancouver, BC—An 8-3 victory has extended the Wolf Pack’s winning streak to eight games and prevented the Coastal Tsunami from securing their first victory of 2025.

Andrew Casellato (21) opened the scoring at 4:35 of the first period for North Vancouver, and Kael Jackson (2) evened the score to close off the opening frame.

North Vancouver scored three consecutive goals to open the second-period thanks to Jason Scott (20,21) and Matteo Pero (34). Just as they did in the first period, the Coastal Tsunami finished another period with a goal courtesy of Ben Walker (8).

Tanner Terness (8) gave the Wolf Pack a 5-2 lead just over a minute into the third period, and although Jake Yakubowski (11 PP) scored nearly three minutes later to pull the Tsunami within two, that would be the end of the visitors’ goals.

North Vancouver finished the evening scoring a trio of goals from Andrew Casellato (22), Matteo Pero (35 PP), and Ryan McAuley (3).

Coastal hits the road tomorrow for the final time this weekend and is back home on Friday, January 17, to host the North Vancouver Wolf Pack. Tickets are available online and at the arena.
